2021 - 2022

The client's pro shop and outside driving range business was growing, but Rochester weather wasn't cooperating. Their vision was for a heated space that could accommodate 4-season driving, group seating, and a kitchenette/bar.  The resulting project involved a nearly 4,000 square foot steel building with five 11' tall overhead doors and several types of overhead IR gas heaters. A concrete slab was partially stamped to imitate a pathway through the center corridor and past exterior doors.

The existing porch of Warner Castle, the historic building in the Highland Park area housing Rochester's Landmark Society, was in disrepair.
In addition to a much needed rehab,
the Landmark Society built out the space to include a meeting room and access elevator
for ADA access to the first floor.

For many years the Penfield United Methodist Church had dreamed of an open space to hold large church gatherings and events. Community meals were a large part of their culture and while limited space didn't prevent these events, there was a vision for an adjacent building that would allow for such gatherings. Minimal maintenance was also important and much like the original church itself--something that would last for generations.
