Built on an empty lot in the center of the Swillburg district, these two houses were built with low maintenance and modern design. Unique finishes make these houses stand out and have received much recognition from city officials and passerbys alike.

Locust Hill Drive
2017 - 2018
Architect: 9 x 30 Design
One of our favorite projects, this house initially brought out many curious neighbors during construction. The foundation and walls were all ICF, and for the first few weeks, the most common questions was "what is this going to be". Our clients wanted something small, isolated from exertion noise, energy efficient affordable, low maintenance, and great design. This one checked all the boxes, and the results speak for themselves. The use of insulated concrete walls, foam backed siding, close cell spray foam, and triple pain windows, made the interior extremely quiet and efficient.

Bristol new home
2017 - 2018
Architect: Method Architecture Studio

The first time we saw this property, the clients walked us through their vision for how the new house would removed minimal trees and nestle into the wooded hillside. The site was challenging due to the slope and long curving driveway but the result was stunning.

bowling green, ky
2011 - 2012

This small house was one of our first attempts to use traditional and recycled materials to build an affordable and efficient house. Set on a rolling five acres of Kentucky farm land, the house was nestled in among the hill. Though our style has changed and our experience has increased over the years, this tiny farm house in the KY hills is a nostolgic reminder of the vision we had--and continue to have--for building beautiful, unique, and environmentally conscious houses.
